ffffound!!!

I love this website. Sometimes I wonder if images are degraded when there are millions everywhere spread across a ton of photo sharing sites where it’s hard to find anything interesting. Every image on this site is amazing. Is there a site like this for video, it needs to happen.
On the (nearly lethal) comforts of a luxury cruise
David Foster Wallace takes a luxury cruise. He veers from hilarity to essay to self-portrait. A big long flowing internal monologue amidst, mysterious Polish maids, and endless buffets.
Procaster = Sick Webcasting App
Tonight at NY Video 2.0 I managed to catch a demo of a beautifully designed webcasting app, Procaster. Sure the interface looked nice, but the true power is in how they killed the details. This thing has so many smart little decisions within the user interface. It all comes together to allow you to create kick ass live presentations even with some “Steve Jobs” effects thrown in, without it getting in the way in the slightest. Webcasting has finally matured and an experienced player has really figured it out. There’s no good reason not to webcast any event or presentation. I sound like the pitchman for Oxy Clean.
What’s exciting here is the content possibilities. This technology gets out of the way and puts the focus on great content and live events which is where the focus should be. It’s so easy to use that anyone can create their own TED.
